CULT+KING® PUMPABLE HAIR POWDER | Dry Shampoo, Volume Creator, Life Changer
INSTANT VOLUME NOW.
DELAYED-RELEASE BOTANICAL NOURISHMENT LATER.
FRESHEN UP DIRTY HAIR BETWEEN SHAMPOOS.
Oil and sweat develop on your scalp, then cling to hair, weighing it down and making it stick to your head. A few big poofy pumps of PUMPABLE HAIR POWDER where the oil is, then fluffed through with your fingers, gives you back all the volume of clean hair, and maybe more. We use Arrowroot and two Clays to soak it up.
TO REALLY KEEP THE OIL AT BAY, APPLY PUMPABLE HAIR POWDER TO CLEAN OR 2ND DAY HAIR.
The cuticle openings in each strand make hair like a sponge. Oil soaks right in the opening and weighs hair down from the inside. At the point, all HAIR POWDER can do is absorb the oil on the outside. If you apply HAIR POWDER before the oil and sweat show up, WOW. Most oil can’t get into the cuticle, the powder mops it up, and your style lasts days longer. Plus, PUMPABLE HAIR POWDER’s Glacial Clay Powder from Sea Silt adds a silky grit for va-va-volume with any style. (Don’t even think about an updo without this!)
SURPRISE! LATER WHEN OIL KICKS IN, SO DOES BOTANICAL NOURISHMENT.
PUMPABLE HAIR POWDER deposits tiny liposome capsules filled with niacinamide, bisabolol, calendula and mallow into hair. Your natraj oils are the triggers that release the botanicals and phospholipids at exactly the right scalp-soothing moment for maximum smooth, healthy-looking hair.
DOES IT SOUND LIKE WE SPEND SLEEPLESS NIGHTS OBSESSING OVER YOUR SCALP?
Yes, we do.
HAVING SERIOUS PUMPING ACTION WAS VERY IMPORTANT TO US, AND THIS PRODUCT DELIVERS.
We wanted serious pumping action that could deliver a good volume of fine powder spread over a large area, if that’s what the user wanted. Achieving this is not only about the pump, but also about creating just the right formulation to work with the specific pump. Yippee, we did it!
WHY WAS THIS SO IMPORTANT TO US? TO GIVE AEROSOL DRY SHAMPOO USERS A NON-AEROSOL ALTERNATIVE THAT THEY COULD REALLY EMBRACE.
Because nobody NOBODY needs no stinkin’ petrochemicals sprayed at their heads. Propane, butane, hydroflourocarbons, etc. are the petrochemicals that make aerosols work. If it’s an aerosol can, they’re in there. Ban them from your life. There are much more worthwhile things than butane to dedicate the daily capacity of your elimination organs to. We prefer whiskey. Life is all about choices, after all.
OUR GREATEST CALLING IS TO SERVE YOUR HEALTH BY GIVING YOU HIGH-PERFORMANCE HAIRCARE ALTERNATIVES.
SO HOW DO THE REFILLS WORK?
The main problem with Hair Powder refills is what a mess it is. Anything that involves pouring powder from one container to another in a traditional “refill” format creates powder everywhere.
Our solution? Keep the pump, and just attach a full new bottle of hair powder to it. No mess and no single-use plastic.
You see, yes, the powder pump in PUMPABLE HAIR POWDER is plastic. Despite our efforts to create a pump in another material, nothing worked. So we said, “ok, let the pump be people’s lifelong pump used over and over again with new jars of PUMPABLE HAIR POWDER attached.”
Replacement hair powder pumps are available on the website for purchase, but please don’t buy them. Unless your dog eats it. Or you flush it by mistake. Or accidentally bake it into a pine nut casserole.

The only dry shampoo I want to use from now on. This helps quite a bit with oily roots and leaves my hair looking refreshed. It also smells so amazing and leaves a beautiful shimmery finish! I do wish it was a little more volumizing, but I think I might just need to be a little more liberal when using it. The only real complaint I have is that the pump stopped working on my second bottle, so I’m preparing to buy a new one and hoping it will last longer than the first. A small price to pay for a wonderful product!

Okay I’ve tried a million other dry shampoos, including “clean” ingredient powder formulas. This is the ONLY dry shampoo I’ve ever used that doesn’t leave me itching my scalp all day. I couldn’t believe it. Truly an amazing product. Yes, you have to do a little patting to blend it in, but it’s not like a stark white powder and it comes out in a fine enough cloud that it’s pretty easy to blend. And I have dark brown hair. Try this if you need a dry shampoo that doesn’t irritate your scalp.

This is the best feeling dry shampoo I’ve ever tried. The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is it doesn’t seem to add volume like I had hoped. I have thinning hair and when I use this on my roots it shows my thinning hair even more. That’s the only bummer.
Super light Super clean

This is the best dry shampoo I’ve ever used. This brand is exactly what it says it is, clean ingredients and sustainable packaging.
Try it, it’ll change your life. I’ve used this product since deformity was pumpable. I also use the cream pop. Check it out. I’m going to try the bar soap next.
Ima cult &king girlie for life now.

I love love this on my hair and I have fine/wavy thin hair. I did learn quickly to shake the bottle before pumping. The product itself is phenomenal

The absolute BEST dry shampoo.
I have wavy, low porosity hair, sometimes it’s a real struggle because my waves get weighed down and most dry shampoos make my scalp itch like crazy. However this dry shampoo paired with Style gives me the best wave definition that last for days! The best part is that my hair feels soft, but not like there is product in it. I also love that this a pump and not an aerosol or shaker bottle!

Obsessed!
FINALLY: a dry shampoo that is perfect in every way.

I love this product! I’ve only ever tried aerosol cans before this and this is by far my favorite. This feels like there’s no product in my hair and I love that it’s slightly shimmery (although it’s only noticeable on my hairs, my hair doesn’t shimmer). This is my new go-to dry shampoo.

Most bitchin’ product to ever exist. I use it on my scalp as a dry shampoo, on bridal hair to fluff out big waves for texture and volume, and for grit when my hair is just too silky. You will not pry this from my cold, dead hands.

I LOVE this dry shampoo. There are a lot of mediocre dry shampoos out there, and since I use and love other Cult + King products (Jelly and Tonik), I thought I’d give this one a try. I used to use the dry shampoo by Hair Story, which was effective, but left my hair a little sticky/stiffer than I would ideally like and uses more plastic packaging. This one takes care of my regular needs for a dry shampoo – absorbs oil and refreshes my fine hair which is prone to oiliness – however the thing that puts it over the top for me is the scalp benefits. Despite trying to care for my scalp well with scalp scrubs periodically and the scalp Tonik, I still find myself having an itchy scalp with irritation and sometimes scabs when I extend washes. However, my scalp feels great with this!! I notice a huge difference in how my scalp feels between washes. Before, I had begun using the tonik between washes on dry hair to refresh my hair and soothe my scalp, but I no longer find it necessary because of how well this dry shampoo cares for my scalp. Would 100% recommend for anyone looking to soothe their scalp and as an overall great dry shampoo. FWIW I don’t know that I’ve noticed a huge difference in terms of volume creation. Not a complaint in the least — I just wouldn’t call that a standout feature of the product for me. This will absolutely be my new go to dry shampoo!

It’s very light but effective and works really well on my fine and oily scalp. I’ve tried several non-aerosol powders and this is by far my favorite.
