It’s a Non-Lathering Oil Cream Suspension Ideal for Shaving | It may not lather up, but whatever kind of razor you’re using, you will notice a difference. Less razor burn and irritation, more smoothness. For best results, use right out of the shower. It’s water-activated for shaving, so add hot water, a hot towel, or TONIK for best results. I usually don’t review things online, but this balm really deserves all the credit it’s getting. I have thick, wavy hair and this product doubles as a light, pliable styler and leave in conditioner. It gives my hair a lot of texture and a healthy shine (not greasy). I constantly struggle with finding styling products that actually improve my hair, and this one is truly a keeper. The smell is really fantastic. I also use it underneath my eyes and for my hands, and it works magic as a moisturizer. If you’re considering buying it but it seems expensive, it is worth every penny. I use a nickel sized amount for my medium length men’s flow hairstyle and it distributes and moisturizes through all my hair easily. The refillable jar should last a few months at least.

I feel like I have gone thru every product out there looking for a beard lotion/balm that actually works and feels good. This is the only product that I have found that I’ve ever been happy with. I usually order a 6.8oz refill and it will last me 9+ months. If they ever stop making this product, I don’t know what I’ll do.

I initially tried it for my hair finding it too heavy for my fine wavy/curly hair— but when I apply to my face I do use what’s left on my hands in my hair. I use this on my long curly hair, which sucks up a lot of product so it’s probably not super economical, but it does an AMAZING job to prevent frizz. Better than anything else I’ve used. Love this stuff.

I adore this product for my dense/thick/curly/low-porosity hair. I use it while my hair is wet after showering and it does a great job at smoothing my frizz-prone strands.
My only criticism, which isn’t criticism for the product but rather the company, is that I wish there were smaller refills available like there is for Tonik because I can’t afford to pay $60 at once for a hair product. It would be great to have a single refill option for those of us in lower income brackets.

I’m in love Balm! I live in dry Montana, have combo skin, curly 2B hair (that really doesn’t like products with protein and loves moisture, med porosity, med density, med coarseness) and I initially bought Balm thinking I could use it to scrunch/break my gel cast after I style my hair. My hair didn’t love that (go see my review on Jelly), BUT my skin and my face LOVE it (combo skin). I transitioned to using Balm under my eyes in the morning, and on dry spots over nigh- this is in addition to my night face lotion. It soothes red spots, acne (especially hormonal), heals dry spots, and I love the smell. At first I was nervous to use it on my face because I have sensitive skin…but I’m telling you, there’s nothing like this out there. I’m also glad I got the mini because now when I travel it’ll be easy to pack AND the refills fill it quite a few times. This stuff will last forever, I seriously could go on and on. Try it. You won’t regret it!

I use this product on my beard. No other product I’ve tried keep my beard as healthy looking and feeling as this balm. My wife doesn’t care for the smell of it so maybe we could get other scents in the future but I cannot find another product that works this well and I’ve tried a lot

Use under my eyes in the morning! Helps tighten skin and makes me look awake. Son had surgery a few weeks ago. Use it on his healing incision area and it moisturizes the dry patches left from the adhesive tape.

This stuff is amazing. I mostly use it for my hair but it also works nicely as a moisturizer. I usually have a hard time finding hair products because most creams and such tend to make me break out, but I haven’t had any issues with BALM. It’s perfect for creating a casual healthy look that isn’t heavy or over-styled. It smells great, looks, great, feels great, and I couldn’t be happier with it.
I’m also equally impressed by CULT + KING’s quality of customer service. I recently had a minor hiccup with one of my orders and the customer representative, Sierra, was absolutely amazing in helping me out. I bought this on September 1 after my hairstylist used it after she dried my hair. I’ve been addicted to the smell, and I use it on my hair after I dry it to make it shiny and less fly away. But I mostly use it on my face and hands and forearms! A little dollop goes a long way, it’s very moisturizing on my face, and I love smelling like cloves and spices, it really is a heavenly smell. After 4 full months of use every day, I still have at least a months worth left in the cute little bamboo container. For myself, I like to use this product after defusing my natural curly hair. Just a little bit will go a long way and it leaves me curls looking super healthy, cute, and bouncy! As for my clients, I use a little on the ends after a blow dry or even during styling to for a piece the hair apart. Putting a small amount on your ends when air drying is also a total look.
