What is Weirdfest?

CULT+KING’s Annual Professional Hairstylist Education Event, including one full day of hands-on cutting education, one full day of high-impact soft skills education, multiple hosted social hours for community-building, and a big hullabaloo party at the end.

Who is invited?

CULT+KING wholesale account owners and any or all of the stylists and barbers who work at salons and barbershops that carry CULT+KING.

Important ticket facts:

  • Event time and place:  July 23 – 26, 2025 in Park City, UT.
  • 100 Tickets Total.
  • Limit one ticket per user account on cultandking.com.
  • Tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis. We cannot hold tickets based on any verbal or written communications.
  • Will this event sell out? Who knows! We were shocked that anyone showed up last year. But 100 life-lovers did, so let’s do it again!
  • Payment is not confirmation of your Ticket reservation. Your event ticket purchase is pending your completion of the Weirdfest Registration form, and email confirmation by CULT+KING staff. Any ticket purchases without completed Registration Forms are not confirmed and will result in a refund.
  • Weirdfest tickets are non-transferrable to another individual without notification and permission from CULT+KING.
  • Tickets are non-refundable 30 days prior to the event.

What is included in the ticket?

  • Each ticketed attendee gets full access to the entire itinerary below, including two full days of education which will span a hands-on hair training on Thursday and a special inner work retreat on Friday, as well as the iconic Weirdfest party on Saturday. Meals included are specified in the itinerary below.
  • Each ticketed attendee may bring guests to certain events with them that must be RSVPd along with your ticket. These guests are meant to be friends and family who came to town with you, and we’d love to meet them! Your guests will not be invited to the training sessions, as those will be reserved for ticketed attendees only, but they are invited to many of the evening receptions as well as the big Weirdfest party!
  • At the time of booking your ticket, we will ask for your information and your guest’s information including contact info, dietary restrictions, accessibility accommodations, and more.
  • Traveling with children? All events will be hosted at venues that allow guests under 21, although all guests and attendees may be required to provide a valid ID. The Weirdfest warehouse party is kid-friendly, though it may become loud.
  • Traveling with pets? We love love love fur babies, but we kindly ask that they stay home from the proceedings. Service animals are welcome. Speak to us if you have any special accommodations to consider.
  • Travel and accommodation costs are not included in your ticket.

WEDNESDAY, JULY 23

Afternoon: Viceroy-Only Training

4:00pm – 6:00pm: Welcome Reception on Park City’s Main Street.
Guests very welcome. Beverages & light refreshments included.

THURSDAY, JULY 24

9:00am – 4:00pm: Hair education in Park City’s Old Town
Including cut & styling classes from three fantastic educators and a hands-on session for all attendees. Breakfast & Lunch included. 

4:00pm – 6:00pm: Pie & Beer Day reception following the training.
Invite your guests to join us at Park City’s iconic Main Street from a new vantage point.

FRIDAY, JULY 25

10:00am – 7:00pm: Inner Work Retreat
Travel from Park City’s Old Town together for a once-in-a-lifetime inner work and skillset retreat at a uniquely beautiful spot in Utah’s mountains. Lunch & cocktail/mocktail hour included. Ticketed attendees only. Guests not participating.

SATURDAY, JULY 26

6:00pm – Late: CULT+KING’s annual Weirdfest party

Join our team members, family, friends, neighbors, townies, and scores of badass CULT+KING hair stylists from around the country for our annual outdoor warehouse jam.

• Doors open at 6 p.m.
• Hosts’ Greeting at 7 p.m.
• I HEAR SIRENS, fresh off their European tour, performing live at 8:30 p.m.
• Chaotica Fire Arts performing after the band.

• Hosted Bar serving Signature cocktails, CULT+KING’s own “Juicy Revolution IPA” and “World Rocker Rice Lager,” and wines of all colors.
• Complimentary snacks, both savory and sweet, served up by a herd of rotating food trucks.
• DJ Zwicky throughout the evening (you loved her last year!)
• The most adorable photo booth you’ve ever seen. Or have your aura photographed.
• Other notable happenings.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
1. Bring your ID so you can get a wristband at the door in order to be served at the bar.
2. Because this is an invitation-only OUTDOOR private party on private property serving adult beverages, we need a list of guests attending to keep it safe and legal. We want everyone to come and have a blast at Weirdfest for years to come, so please help us out.

These talented and diverse educators are all CULT+KING Viceroys, of course.

FIRST, WATCH SOME MASTERS AT WORK.

Our three educators will take the stage at the same time cutting and styling three different signature looks on three live models.

NEXT, CHOOSE YOUR OWN ADVENTURE, HANDS-ON-STYLE.

The room will split up into three sections, and class attendees will report to the area designated for the educator whose look they want to execute on their own doll-head (provided). You’ll get hands-on help and tips from the Educators themselves and other experts on hand to help.

Afterwards we’re going to have a Pie and Beer Party.

THE TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS

Your travel arrangements are entirely at your discretion. We are happy to provide advice.

Viceroys, we recommend arriving by the morning of Wednesday 7/23 so that you will be able to attend our Viceroy training at 1pm that day. For all others, you may choose to arrive in time for our welcome reception on Wednesday 7/23 at 4pm, or travel in later that night.

Keep in mind, Park City is located roughly 30-45 minutes from SLC airport.

For your departure, all events will have concluded by Sunday 7/27. You can head out then, or stick around and enjoy Park City’s beautiful summertime scenery. In our personal experience, you may enjoy not having an early-morning flight on Sunday morning – the night has a way of being more fun than you ever expected.

There are many varieties of accommodations available in the Old Town Park City area in all sizes and price points. These are just some suggestions, but there are many interesting options especially for groups. You are not required to book the below, but we have spoken with the management of these establishments and they are happy to have you.

These are a walking distance from all 3 event venues Wed-Fri, and a 10 minute drive to C+K warehouse (we’d recommend Uber/Lyft to & from the party anyway.) Public transportation will be able to take you for free throughout most of Park City. These hotels may provide airport shuttles which you would need to arrange with them.
